Something else to consider when buying a vacuum is the type of filter it has. There are many types of filters available ranging from the ones that filter air and dust only to the more advanced filters that are suitable for those with pets or allergies. HEPA filters are now the standard for most vacuum cleaners, however new filter technologies found in modern bag or filter vacuums can do just as good a job.
4. Extras
Other factors to consider when buying a vacuum cleaner include the bag capacity, cord length, power assist, and weight. Not to mention good customer support and a full warranty.
